National Erasmus+ Information Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina was organised on Wednesday, 19 October 2016, at the ceremonial hall of the Rectorate of the University of Sarajevo. The event was opened by Prof. Dr.  Izet Radjo, Vice-Rector for Scientific/Artistic Research, University of Sarajevo, H.E Mr. Lars-Gunnar WIGEMARK, Head of the EU Delegation and the EU Special Representative in BiH, Mr. Adnan Husic, Assistant Minister, Ministry of Civil Affairs BiH and Mr. Suad Muhibic, Head of National Erasmus+ Office in BiH.

The event was organised in order to promote opportunities within the Erasmus+ programme, with special emphasis on possibilities within the area of higher education, including: capacity building for higher education, international credit mobility, joint master degrees, Jean Monnet activities, and other relevant opportunities.

edu3National Erasmus+ Information Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held on October 19, 2016, at the University of Sarajevo, Conference Hall (Recotrate), Obala Kulina bana 7/II.

The event will be organized by National Erasmus+ Office in BiH, in close cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union to BiH and the University of Sarajevo.

The purpose of the event is to promote opportunities in the area of higher education within the Erasmus+ Program, with special emphasize on Capacity Building for Higher Education, International Credit Mobility, Joint Master Degrees and Jean Monnet activities.

In cooperation with the National Erasmus+ Office in BiH and Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs), the University of Mostar organized a workshop on the subject of “Development of qualifications standards and occupational standards” on Tuesday, 27 September 2016. Ms Emita Blagdan from the Agency for Science and Higher Education, Croatia led the workshop. The workshop’s aim was to share European experience and knowledge on development and use of the qualifications and occupational standards to academic community in BiH, government officials and other relevant stakeholders.

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (ЕАСЕА) has announced selection results under Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Activities 2016. Out of 202 applications recommended for funding (Jean Monnet Funds), there are no winning proposals including universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
