Key Action 1 supports mobility in the education, training and youth sectors and aims to bring long lasting benefits to the participants and the participating organisations involved , as well as on the policy systems in which such activities are framed.
The actions of the KA1 are managed at decentralised level by the National Agencies:
- Mobility project for higher education students and staff;
- Mobility for learners and staff vocational education and training (VET);
- Mobility for pupils and staff in school education;
- Mobility for learners and staff in adult education;
- Mobility projects for young people - “YOUTH EXCHANGES”
- Mobility projects for youth workers
- Youth participation activities
- Mobility projects for young people - “DISCOVEREU INCLUSION ACTION”
- Virtual exchange in higher education and youth.
Applications under this action cannot be made by individual students, staff or volunteers. People wishing to participate in an activity will need to contact one of the organisations involved in mobility project supported from the Erasmus + programme.

This action aims
- To support large-scale volunteering projects in the framework of European or worldwide events, in the field of youth, culture and sport
- To allow young people aged 17-30 to express their personal commitment through unpaid and full-time voluntary service in another country (different from the home country of the volunteer).
- To allow young volunteers to contribute to the run-up of activities and initiatives organised in the framework of a European/international event.

Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (JMDs) continue the successful experiences resulting from Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses, and aim at:
- fostering quality enhancements, innovation, excellence and internationalisation in higher education institutions;
